NCEED Advisory Board member Tim Shriver received the 2026 Laetare Medal — the oldest and most prestigious honor given exclusively to American Catholics—at Notre Dame’s 181st University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 17. Additionally, it was recently announced that advisory board member Dr. Marybeth Gasman has been named co-editor of Educational Researcher- the premier journal of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) – with board member Dr. Michael Nettles serving as an associate editor.
