Congratulations to Dr. Leslie Anderson on being selected as 1 of 10 HBCU educators and behavioral health professionals nationwide to serve on the HBCU L.E.A.P. National Curriculum Development Task Force. L.E.A.P., Leadership in Education, Awareness and Preparation, is housed at Clark Atlanta University and funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). As a member of the task force, Dr. Anderson will assist in developing innovative pathways to introduce high school and community college students to careers in behavioral health, including but not limited to, school-based services, culturally responsive approaches, and family-centered modalities.
