Dr. Simone Gibson traveled to New Orleans for the Feb 19-22 American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) Annual Meeting.  She delivered a presentation entitled: Cross Cultural Classrooms: Short Term Study Abroad in Understanding Poverty and Community in Teacher Education. Dr. Gibson, in continuation of this program, is currently co-organizing the 2026 opportunity to Sao Paolo, Brazil with NCEED’s Dr. Leslie Anderson.
